Tacoma Teen Choir

  • Provide safe opportunities for students who want to sing with others during this pandemic.

  • Teach students songs of hope, love and resilience

  • Provide a space to be seen and have fun in a unique format.

  • Provide community building and leadership opportunities around current social issues.

  • Provide a forum for communally processing the emotions of these extraordinary times.

  • Allow capacity for as many students as want to participate, including students at Tacoma schools that do not have vocal music programs.

Beginning in late January, we will meet on Wednesdays 4-5:15pm on Zoom.  The choir is led by Erin Guinup with additional support from student leaders and choir teachers from Tacoma, Puyallup, Federal Way and Sumner-Bonney-Lake School Districts .  This opportunity is free and open to all students grades 6-12.

We look forward to launching an in-person program when health conditions allow.
