About the Event
Join the Tacoma Refugee Choir in celebrating our community and its Venezuelan music traditions with this free interactive workshop! You'll be introduced to the rich history and sounds of aguinaldos, gaitas, and other folk traditions. This session will be joyful, welcoming—and of course, super chevere!
Our community is full of neighbors and friends who passionately cultivate musical traditions from around the world. This year, the Tacoma Refugee Choir invites all music lovers to learn more about the songs and stories that have inspired and enriched our region. This is an opportunity to connect with others through the joy of singing and to explore how music can help make harmony out of our diversity.
